For heroes, the power is the total of all bonuses and energy found on the lower part of the hero card.
-
For weapons, the power is the total of all the numbers on the weapon wheel with the exception of one - the cost of spinning.
-
For all cards, the average power of the given lineage is indicated on the card (for heroes it is in the lower, right-hand corner; for weapons it is next to the lineage name).
-
You can always, however, determine the power of your cards by scanning them into your phone with the Scratch Wars app.
-
Power is determined on a scale of -8 to +8 (or in rare cases, -9 to +9) in relation to the average of the given lineage (for example, +2 power means that your monkey wizard’s bonuses equate to +2 more than the average of all other monkey wizards).
-
The power of each hero lineage (e.g., Monkey wizards) is distributed in a way that most of the cards have a power of zero (i.e., the average) with the least amount of cards at either end of the scale (i.e., power of -8 or +8).
-
Cards with a power of -8 or +8 are very rare within any given hero lineage and often times there is only one such type of card (for example, there may only be one monkey wizard with a power of +8 in the whole world)
